March 16th, Peacock Park, Secondlife. Still one week until easter and The Great Grid-wide Easter Egg Hunt is already promising to be the biggest hunt of it's type in SL history. Over 90 participating locations have signed on and 150 eggs are already hidden and ready. More sponsors are signing on every day, and the hunters are getting antsy.

For four weeks starting Easter (March 23rd - April 20) players will hunt for eggs all across the grid to collect instant win prizes and cash, as well as a shot at the daily jackpot. The jackpot is already up to L$750/day and grows with every egg hidden. Each find means that the hunter has one more chance at winning the daily draw. Sponsors join the hunt by buying batches of eggs to hide around their parcels, and the game website will track all of the locations and finds. Eggs will be on sale until April 13th.

Last year's Great Grid-wide Easter Egg Hunt saw over 800 hunters log nearly 10,000 finds at vendors' locations over a month-long period. The game's accountant, Egg Broek, records handing out over 100,000$L in prizes. The feedback was so good that it spawned a year-round hunt known as The Great Grid-wide Goldrush (GGG to fans).

 Easter is back and this year organizers are determined to do even better. In the final week before launch the hunt has more sponsors, more eggs, more publicity, and a year's worth of dedicated hunters who can't get enough of the game.
